Grateful September... music, art and communityI feel so blessed to have so much music and art around me. On a personal note, I really had no idea music would be such
a big part of my life. but I love it and I have persisted in it. And I find myself a member of a amazing choir with an extremely
talented (gifted really) musical director (Jay Brown) and singers (friends) who rock the church tunes. And I am asked to perform
in art venues in Jersey City with incredible people who value the arts, celebrate local talent and create community venues
for poetry art and music which are safe, positive environments. By safe, I mean you can feel free to express yourself and
never feel criticized in doing so! Thank you to JCity theater (www.jcity.org) for asking
me to be a part of Jersey Shorts last night September 10th. It was an awesome night great job to all who participated. I am
really looking forward to being a part of Ladies on the Mic at Made with Love cafe in Jersey City Sept 19th. And looking forward
to another new venue as well....Sertinos Cafe in Emerson NJ on Friday Oct 1st. Hope you are having a wonderful September.
